SOIC 8-pin socket

This socket allows the customer to convert their laptop/pc motherboard from 8-pin hard soldered to a solder free serviceable set up. Handy for experimentation/testing/ ease of use, these accomodate the 200mil soic (standard 8-pin laptop bios chips), but i have been told will also manage 150mil 8 pin soics with care.NOTE: This part will require you to de-solder your old bios chip and re-solder this socket on......we can do this work for you if needed. Customers who purchase a soldered laptop bios repair can purchase this socket as an extra and we can fit this for free for them at the same time.
